You don’t get presents on your birthday because you were born, you get presents as rewards for still being alive.

“I want us to be friends, good friends.”

— Paramahansa Yogananda

“If you want to be sad, no one in the world can make you happy. But if you make up your mind to be happy, no one and nothing on earth can take that happiness from you.”

You deserve the best, nothing less.

Find the man who will not only make you happy on your wedding day
but someone who will look at you with and touch your soul for
each and every day for the rest of your life.

— Pablo Picasso

10 Easy Tips for a Happier Life

  1. Remember that friendship is a gift, not a possession.
  2. Do “first things first”. (Generally that means doing the most important task first thing in the morning.)
  3. Smile, especially when you’re with other people. (Remember that everyone is fighting a hard battle).
  4. Include extra time, or margin, in your schedule.
  5. QTIP (or quit taking it personally.)
  6. Treasure people and experiences over possessions.
  7. Do what’s important and say “no” to the rest.
  8. Accept that constant change is here to stay!
  9. Remember that nothing is usually as serious as it seems at first.
  10. Do something relaxing before going to bed.

Multnomah Falls by the way. In Oregon. ♥

I’ve been here! It really is breathtaking. The thundering roar of the water and the spray of the water against your face is so magical and just ugh. It’s Multnomah Falls by the way. In Oregon. ♥ A really great place to go and see.

Don't make a girl upset

Don't make a girl upset.
I know that guys have feelings too, but once a girl is
upset, it's like hell for her. The way she handles things is
by going through all these tears and by giving herself all
this pain she doesn't deserve. The thing about girls is that
they can get affected so much, by something so little.
When a girl is upset, she'll try to hide her feelings. She'll
try to make herself seem happy, when really, she's
breaking down on the inside.

Giving Up

I don’t see whats going on,
All I know is it hurts like hell.
I was punched, repeatedly,
But, then, you might as well.

My heart is in both my hands,
My fingers, holding it tight.
I know there wasn’t long,
And I will not win this fight.

My tears are falling down,
And I am in so much pain.
I think it’s all finally over,
But it will be this way again.

My head feels so darn heavy,
And all I want to do is sleep.
Once my head hits the pillow,
I know all I’ll do is weep.

And when morning comes,
I will only just turn away.
I’ll close my curtains, again,
And I’ll stay in bed all day.

Because I don’t need to face,
The day which isn’t mine.
It’s forced on me, to live it,
But I’m running out of time.

My eyes are crimson red,
My heart is burning sore.
And by the look of my arms,
I can’t do this anymore.
