human beings are funny.

human beings are funny. they long to be with the person they love but refuse to admit openly. some are afraid to show even the slightest sign of affection because of fear. fear that their feelings may not be recognized, or even worse, returned. but one thing about human beings puzzles me the most is their conscious effort to be connected with the object of their affection even if it kills them slowly within.

i think life is simpler than we tend to think. we look for answers and more answers. but there are no answers. things happen in life, good things and bad. people say, 'why did it happen to me?' well, why not? some people win the lottery, and others die in a car crash. it happens, and there is nothing we can do about it. the universe doesn't care what happens to you.

it just got to the point where i just wanted you out of my life for good. everyone said i'd be better off without you, and they were probably right but then at the same time, i tried to imagine my life without you there and i just couldn't.
