Rule 2: Create a positive, happy atmosphere with your family and/or significant others. Make time for each other. If you’re in a relationship, treat each day as if you’re dating. If you’re living with your parents, talk often with them.
Rule 3: Find something worth doing. It’s common sense. It ain’t easy, but make the effort. If you find your job a chore, then you probably won’t last in that job for long.
Rule 4: Treasure your friends. Friends who stand by your during times of hardship are worth keeping. Treasure them.
Rule 5: Exercise regularly. Keeps the stresses of life out of your mind.
Rule 6: Chew your food and enjoy it! But avoid gluttony. Eat till a point someone asks you,”Are your eyes hungry or is your stomach hungry?”
Rule 7: Volunteer. Supposedly, volunteering a few hours a week can prolong your life by 3 years. Although I do not know the hard facts behind this, but volunteering can indeed put a smile on the face of others.
Rule 8: Read books and listen to music. This is an excellent habit to have. Take time to sit back, relax and enjoy ourselves.
Rule 9: Count your blessings. Count every blessing in your life. We always want more, but have we taken a step back to look at what we already have?
Rule 10: Do not envy. Try not to compare yourselves to others. Be content with what you have but try to unlock your own potential.
